In cold regions, low temperature environment is the main challenge. In humid areas, similar to hot areas, moisture prevention is the key to ensuring the thermal insulation performance of EPS Particles. In addition to the risk of moisture intrusion into the pores, humid areas may also have problems such as microbial growth, which may also pose a potential threat to the performance of EPS Particles. For example, the metabolic activities of microorganisms may produce some acidic or alkaline substances, which have a certain corrosive effect on EPS materials, thereby affecting its thermal insulation performance and structural integrity.

In order to cope with the challenges under different climatic conditions, some measures can be taken when using EPS Particles. For example, in cold regions, we should strengthen protection to prevent excessive physical impact on the material, which may lead to structural damage. In hot and humid regions, we should do a good job of moisture-proof and waterproofing, such as wrapping it with suitable waterproof materials or designing reasonable drainage and moisture-proof structures during construction, so as to maximize the thermal insulation performance of EPS Particles, so that it can stably play a thermal insulation role under various climatic conditions, and provide reliable support for building energy conservation and product insulation.
